LOUISE KIDGER

I am an artist practicing in Brighton and Hove area, although I also travel around the South of England in order to complete commissions.

I primarily work in oil paint; the colours and marks that can be made are, for me, more expressive and fluid than any other media.

I love to immerse myself in the experience of bringing to life a person in a way that, I hope, conveys more than simply their outer appearance. Through my portraiture I aim to convey my experience of that person and the layers of them as I perceive them to be.
